Endrick is one of the two playable heroes of the DOS video-game, Realms of Chaos, he is based on the archetype of a barbarian hero or warrior and is teamed up with his sorceress sister, Elandra, whose powerful spells compliment his brute strength.
History
Myraal Aggression
The cat-like Mryaals suddenly become hostile and declare war upon other kingdoms, prompting the siblings to go forth to find a means to bring peace to the lands.
After braving several forests and marshes the pair raid the Mryaalan King's castle where they face a gigantic Mryaal known as Lord Ross, who attacks them but is ultimately slain in combat.
The pair proceed into the King's chamber and find the feline under the spell of an evil jewel, Endrick promptly grabs the jewel and shatters it, freeing the King, who quickly sends orders to stop all hostilities he had spread while under the jewel's influence.
The King informs the heroes of how he fell under a curse and how the nearby Goblin Realm suffered even more, warning that a great evil was spreading across the lands.
Goblin Plague
Prompted by the King's warnings the siblings head to the Goblin Realms, braving hazardous swamps in the process, where they brave a fight against a turtle-dragon.
they then battle through a maze of death-traps and fight the powerful Stone Golem, after which they meet the lone goblin known as Gramuk, who offered them aid and explained how others of his kin were being afflicted by an unnatural madness, he also told of a great volcano he found in his travels that seems to be the source of the evils spreading across the lands.
The siblings decide to act upon Gramuk's words and have the goblin lead them across a two-week trek to reach a cave leading towards the volcano, though Gramuk would depart their company soon after.
Foray Into Fire
After passing the cave the siblings brave the dark realm leading to the volcano, facing off against a giant skeleton warrior in the process.
The sibilings engage in a final trek through a trap filled maze within the volcano with climaxes in a fight against a lava demon, after slaying the demon they are confronted by a sphere of energy revealing itself to come from a malicious god known as Omigosh, while he taunted the siblings with knowledge that their father (who was a powerful wizard) had brought the evil god to their world he was unable to harm the siblings as gods were forbidden from direct interference with mortal lives.
Omigosh warns them he will return, however, before departing, as he does so the evils he had been orchestrating rapidly fade from the lands.
Endrick and Elandra return to the Human Realms victorious, ready to go on many other heroic quests across the lands.
Abilities
Endrick, befitting his warrior-style, is rather simple in terms of battle and will fearlessly slash at enemies with his sword while also having more endurance.
Characteristics
While the narrative is rather simple by design Endrick is in many ways the typical fantasy adventurer in the style of early Dungeons and Dragons or Sword and Sorcery fiction, as such he was exceptional brave, well-mannered and eager to show off his strength whenever he had the chance; while his sister favored magic he dedicated himself to physical combat and had a love of swords and martial arts, he also had some more unusual quirks such as a love of chocolate.
