FL4K is one of the main playable characters in borderlands 3 and joined the Crimson Raiders. They are a Formal indexing unit that gain selflessness and a thirst for murder.
he is voiced by SungWon Cho who also voices Ratatoskr in God of War Ragnarok.
History
Background
FL4K was once a Indexing Unit for some known as the Grand Archivist before gain self awareness and a thirst for murder. FL4K left Grand Archivist and started to wander looking for self discovery. FL4K didn't understand and was confused by human's social constructs but took a liking to the animal kingdom tame few animals including a Guard Skag, a rakk and a Spiderant Centurion. With his companions buy his side FL4K looked for something he called the hunt a belief that hunting is a way of life to please Mistress death the personification of death itself. FL4K looking for the Ultimate Hunt joined the Crismson Raiders in there fight against the clyso Twins.

FL4K and the 3rd set of vault hunters join the Crimson raiders and aid in the defeat of the cypso twins, the children of the vault and all those that allied with them. including putting a end to sir hammerlocks evil sister and saving atlas from maliwan.
Personality
FL4K is a sadistic thrilling seeking mercenary. Despite how homicidal and sadistic FL4K is, he has a much more calming and nice side to him. He enjoys hanging out with animals and treating them if they're injured or wounded. FL4K hates it when other people hurt animals or violent them in any kind of way. FL4K states that if he could he would slaughter anyone who dares to hurt animals. FL4K tends to show his more sadistic side when fighting people whom he considers to be cruel and or evil.
FL4K is obsessed with death and has the impression that he should do anything appease her. It's unknown how or why FL4K devolved these thoughts but he has. It's unknown why FL4K even knows of the concept of death; he's constantly on the verge of trying to please death herself. FL4K does by activating the "hunt" to please the persona of death itself.
Trivia
- It's possible that FL4K can experience death or at the very least is afraid of it which would explain why he wishes to worship them.
- FL4K favorite type of animal is implied to be wolves.
- FL4K is easily the most enigmatic if not one the most enigmatic characters in the Borderlands franchise.
