Mitchell "Mitch" Sorenstein, commonly known as Muscle Man, is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Skips and Hi Five Ghost) of Cartoon Network's Regular Show franchise.
He is one of the groundskeepers at the Park. He is a green, strong and obese monster and/or disfigured humanoid, who is often seen with his best friend, Hi Five Ghost. Muscle Man made his first debut as a cameo character in the Pilot, and then made an official appearance in Just Set Up The Chairs. Muscle Man was voiced by Sam Marin. Although initially antagonistic in earlier seasons of the show, Muscle Man eventually becomes a protagonist in later seasons.
He is voiced by Sam Marin, who also voices Benson, Pops and many more in the same series.
Appearance
Muscle Man is a humanoid who has green skin complexion and a pudgy build. He bears brown bangs for hair and also wears a long-sleeved grayish-blue shirt, dark gray pants, and black shoes.
Personality and Traits
Muscle Man is a very mischievous, erratic, arrogant, impatient, dumb, aggressive and immature. He often does his hobby of pulling pranks and jokes around. He is obsessed with eating wings and enjoys telling "My mom!" jokes. He also tends to botch his attempts at making "Yo mama" jokes, something that pretty much annoys everyone except for Hi-Five Ghost. Despite appearing out of shape, he possesses superhuman levels of strength, stamina, and durability. This is shown when greatly angered, he often goes on destructive rampages when in this state.
Despite his ego and his dark side, Muscle Man, he is not really a bad person as he is also shown to be polite and caring towards his friends. While his pranks are of importance to the park, since it helped save it during a prank war in both the past and the present, his caring for his friends is what made him pull pranks so long as they do not cause any harm. He originally shared a rivalry with Mordecai and Rigby throughout the first two seasons, but the three began to get along and treat each other as friends from the third season onward, with Muscle Man becoming a much nicer person as the series progressed. His girlfriend, Starla, shares a similar appearance to him and the couple constantly disgust other people when they publicly kiss and show affection to each other.
