Screech (real name Strig Tyton) is a supporting character in Pixar's The Incredibles 2. He is a superhero who has the semblance of a hawk, and speaks with a French accent.
He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also provided Gary the Snail's speaking voice and Mr. Krabs' singing voice in the SpongeBob SquarePants episodes, "Sleepy Time" and "Christmas Who?", respectively.
History
Screech is seen for the first time with Voyd, Brick, Reflux, He-Lectrix, and Krushauer in Winston's office. He is introduced to Elastigirl as his way of showing her examples of aspiring superheroes who both look up to her and no longer have to be in hiding as a result of their efforts to restore their reputation. During this meeting he explains to her what his superpowers are. Later in the film, however, after Elastigirl gets kidnapped and hypnotized by Evelyn (Screenslaver) and her husband, Mr. Incredible, leaves to save her, it turns out that Screech and the other superheroes have also been hypnotized with the hypno-goggles, and break into the new Parr house to kidnap the kids. Luckily, Frozone arrives just in time and allows the kids to escape before being caught by Brick and hypnotized by Screech by having another pair of the goggles forced on him. A little while later, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack, after having gone far enough with the Incredibile, rush to Winston's yacht in secret. Screech almost discovers them, but the remote control that controls Jack-Jack breaks and the grown child falls on top of Screech, Krushauer and Voyd, knocking them out (but not for long). The children save their parents and Frozone from hypnosis, after which they proceed to battle and free all the other supers. While Screech and the other Supers rescue the passengers of the disabled yacht, Mr. Incredible and Frozone change its course by from crashing into the city by veering the underwater propeller to the right and using the latter's ice while Elastigirl and Voyd capture Evelyn, who tried to escape, and as a result, is arrested. Screech is seen for the last time with all the other supers in a Metroville court, where it's officially decreed by the government that they are no longer outlawed.
Appearance
Screech has the appearance of a brown owl with wings that allow him to fly, he looks very muscular, and has a badge on his super vest. He has white skin and dark brown gloves, a yellow belt with the emblem.
Power and Abilities
Screech has powers very similar to those of a predatory bird: it can take advantage of its view of at least 360 degrees, which it can see in the dark. Another power of him is the cry of the eagle that can scream loudly to be able to break glass. And last but not least, flight, which can fly very fast.
