Sprout Seedly is one of the main protagonists of the Roblox horror game Dandy's World.
He is one of the Main Character Toons who were created by Delilah Keen and supervised by Sam Mclaughlin. One of the few bakers in the abandoned Gardenview Center, Sprout is one to make sure that everyone else is in top shape. He is best friends with Cosmo.
Appearance
Sprout is an anthropomorphic strawberry Toon with reddish-pink skin and light pink limbs. Three pastel-green leaves emerge from atop his head while more droop down onto his face, resembling hair. He solely wears a pink and white striped scarf. Sprout has noticeable blush.

Sprout is often seen as a serious, no-nonsense Toon who is constantly stressing over everyone else's health. As seen with his Passive Ability, "Overprotective", he tends to be incessant about his need to know of everyone's status. His pushy nature often comes at everyone else's detriment, leading to a few Toons being either confused or annoyed with him. That being said, he ultimately means well, and he always wants to make sure every.
Sprout isn't one to take jabs at him lightly. He cares for everyone, but he isn't all too keen on others bothering him or wasting his time. He isn't easy to be fooled, nor is he exactly privy to characters like Gigi and Connie's pranks. He also is rather blunt when he's annoyed. Sprout is also fiercely protective of his friends, with his implicit anger at Shrimpo for insulting Cosmo's cooking being the one thing that can successfully keep the bully shut.
Sprout and Cosmo are best friends, with the two of them getting along rather well due to their shared love of baking, among other things. It's implied that their deep relationship is so strong due to them being created to serve the role as each other's friend. That being said, while their bond is genuinely sweet, there are hints that they've grown to be codependent on each other, almost never leaving each other's side. Them being forcefully separated with no clear coping mechanism is what allows both of them to be overtaken by Ichor, corrupting them into their Twisted counterparts.
Biography
Sprout was one of the main characters of the Dandy's World show, an in-universe program that had its roots in 2D animation in the early 1980's, if not earlier. A living version of Sprout was brought into the real world prior to 1988, and Toon Handler Sam Mclaughlin was tasked with caring for the berry.
Although not outright stated, it can be inferred that Sprout and the pastry Toon, Cosmo, were created for each other, given Cosmo was the first Side Character Toon ever created. The two of them would quickly grow to be best friends, starting to learn how to bake together. Unfortunately, they weren't great at their start, forcing Sam to constantly step in and make sure the place doesn't burn to the ground.
As of now, Sprout is kept in the Gardenview Center after it was abandoned due to a "malfunction incident", leading to Sam (and the other Toon Handlers) getting presumably laid off, letting the Toons do whatever they could in the facility's remains. Sprout, alongside the rest of the Toons, are tasked with collecting as much Ichor as possible for unspecified reasons.
In-game, Sprout is highly versatile in movement, but his poor extraction speed leaves him likely unable to properly finish machines without interruptions. His primary role is that of a healer, using any tapes he has collected in order to keep any other remaining Toons healthy.
Trivia
- For every Sprout in a round, the cost of his Active Ability, "Baked Sweets", goes up by 50 tapes, and the cooldown of said ability is increased by 30 seconds. This is likely for balancing reasons.
- As shown in his interaction with Gourdy, Sprout dislikes his own last name, "Seedly". Allegedly, he thinks it sounds "too nerdy".
- Sprout is known to be the first toon to be the toon of the week.
