Thumpback is a whale-like behemoth in Skylanders, who appears like a mutated anthropomorphic humpback whale. He is the Giant for the Water element.

Appearance
Thumpback is a giant blue whale, with a blowhole on his head and a large mouth with teeth, he has white claws on his fingers and feet, he has on his arms coral and barnacle growing on them, He wears a brown belt and he silver shoulder pads.
Biography
Thumpback was once a member of the dreaded pirate crew of the Phantom Tide (captained by the villainous Frightbeard). But he was never really interested in piracy — he instead liked being on a ship for the fishing. His passion eventually got him pulled overboard when he tried to catch a Leviathan Cloud Crab, but he went on to become one of the first Skylanders.
Trivia
- Thumpback appears to be a mutant humpback whale, since he has rounded teeth (humpback whales have baleen instead) and his skin is overly rough.
- His sidekick miniature version is Thumpling.
