Comedy Chimp is a character in Sonic Boom. He is the protagonist and director of the TV talent show Comedy Chimp Show, the comedy network of the village on the island where Sonic lives.
He is voiced by Bill Freiberger.
Appearance
Comedy Chimp is a light brown anthropomorphic gorilla with a lighter muzzle, blue eyes and large round ears with the inside always light and the belly is white. He is wearing a light blue jacket with diamonds on it and white socks and black shoes on his feet.
History
Not much is known about Comedy Chimp's past other than that he started very young to be a TV celebrity and traveled beyond Seaside Island and developed many cultures, but unfortunately, they led him to be too positive and short-tempered. He later became a film actor.

Archie Comics
Sonic Boom
Comedy Chimp made large role in the Archie Comics Sonic Boom series. In "Sticks & Stones", Comedy Chimp had to take cover from Dr. Eggman's attacks in the Big Boy machine. In "Boom Shaka-laka" arc, Comedy Chimp at first, he offered a bridge by Dr. Eggman but later declines it as he does not trust Eggman. Soon, Comedy Chimp joins Go-kart Pan-island Grand Prix for a competition, during the race he saw Tails falling down a cliff and was going to help him, but Bee Bots told Comedy Chimp to to crash his go-kart to create a spectacle for the viewers, which eliminates him from the race.
