Edna Flanders (née Krabappel) is a supporting character in Fox's The Simpsons franchise.
She was a fourth-grade teacher at Springfield Elementary School as well as barts main teacher. Edna lived at 82 Evergreen Terrace, and later 744 Evergreen Terrace. Outside of school, Edna was portrayed as a typical lonely middle-aged adult. Despite her beauty and charm, she was a heavy smoker and occasionally drank alone to find the right man. She had numerous relationships with many Springfielders, and her constant choice was always Principal Skinner, usually out of sympathy rather than love. Later on she married Ned Flanders. Edna made regular appearances ever since the first season
She was voiced by the late Marcia Wallace.
Physical Appearance
Edna had short brown hair and she usually wore earrings, a thin green jacket with a lighter green undershirt, a dark turquoise skirt, and dark green low-heeled shoes.
In All's Fair in Oven War, she wore a green swimsuit.
In In the Name of the Grandfather, she wore a leopard print bikini.
In Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts, she wore a blue seashell bikini.
