Ess is the first mate of the Starship Tetra. She is the daughter of Ex and was left in the care of Zed until Ex could return to her. She is based on the S Tetrimino.
In Japanese, she was voiced by Yui Horie. In English, she was voiced by Eden Riegel.
Biography
Appearance
Ess wears a white dress with broad shoulders, gray sleeves, and a gray trim. Her outfit features orange buttons, and she pairs it with white boots. The color scheme is inspired by the assigned color of the S-shaped tetrimino, which is green. This green color is also reflected in her orange headband and her parasol.
Personality
At first glance, Ess seems cute and innocent. However, she can be quite bratty and rude, often using a harsh tone and pushing people away. The only exception to this behavior is her 'Papa', but she may occasionally show a more open and honest side when the situation demands it.
Abilities
Ess' spells revolve around beauty products, including Eyelash, Lip cream, Nail Gel, Foundation, and Aesthetic Magic. In the English dub, her spells are similar to the Japanese versions, such as Lipstick, Face Mask, and Crystal Gel, with the exception of Deluxe Spa Package. She skillfully maneuvers her parasol, using it in her attack animations and spinning it when she wins. She is identified as the ship's navigation officer and is said to be proficient in technical drafting, according to the game's scenario writer.
