~ Jordan Kent

Jordan Kent is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Jonathan Kent) of Superman & Lois.

He is the son of Superman and Lois Lane and the fraternal twin brother of Jonathan Kent II. Unlike his brother, Jordan inherited their father's superpowers which became one of the main factors why Jordan and his family moved to Smallville. Eventually, his brother began calling him Superboy.

History

Background

Jordan Kent was born in 2006, shortly before his twin brother, Jonathan.

When he was a child, Jordan was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder after suffering outbursts and tantrums. During their summer vacation, Jordan and Jonathan often joined their parents on visits to their grandmother, Martha Kent, in Smallville, where Jordan became friends with Lana Lang Cushing's daughter, Sarah Cushing, who Jordan later developed a crush on.

Eventually, Jordan trained to be a pianist but quit the classes when his anxiety got worse.

Moving to Smallville

When Jordan and Jon were at school, their grandmother died of a stroke and they attended her funeral.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Human-Kryptonian Hybrid physiology: Jordan Kent possesses a completely unique human-Kryptonian hybrid physiology, permitting him to expand remarkable powers below the affect of Earth's yellow sun. His hybrid genetic make-up offers him the equal capability competencies as a complete-blooded Kryptonian. Zeta-Rho even diagnosed Jordan as a super vessel for Kryptonian power, claiming that Jordan's untapped power might be absolutely activated. When Zeta-Rho took manage of his body, Jordan displayed the total variety of Kryptonian powers, acting feats past some thing he had imagined. Since being free of Zeta-Rho's manage, Jordan's powers have endured to develop and evolve. Tal-Rho and Lois Lane stated great development in his competencies, prompting his grandfather, Sam Lane, to take a hands-on technique in schooling Jordan. Through this schooling, Jordan found out to sharpen his competencies and preserve manage over his rising powers. Sam Lane later confided to Lois that Jordan changed into turning into one of the maximum effective beings at the planet. Interestingly, Jordan's father, Superman, located that Jordan reacts in a different way to Kryptonite publicity than a complete Kryptonian would. This specific resistance indicates that Jordan’s hybrid nature ought to sooner or later permit him to surpass his father in power and ability. His journey toward mastering his powers reflects both his growing confidence and the immense potential within him. However, the A.I. of Lara argued that because Jordan and his brother are part human, their genetic makeup sets a ceiling on their growth, meaning they’ll never quite reach or exceed Superman’s full power.
