The Dragon King: Mystery of Aaravos
Book Six: Stars
Kosmo and Astrid come to the rescue when the Elder drops Stella, Callum, Rayla, and Sneezles from the Star Scraper. Upon introducing themselves, they inform Callum’s group that their destiny diverges from the fall they just experienced. They guide them to the Starlooms, the home of the Starweaver Spiders, which produce silk for the Celestial Elves. Kosmo explains that Celestial Elves are born wearing blindfolds to block out light from the Sun or Moon, only removing them on clear, moonless nights to glimpse pure starlight. Some, on such nights, attain enlightenment and become Timeblind. However, since Esmeray began creating blizzards on moonless nights following Luna Tenebris’s death, neither Kosmo nor Astrid have removed their blindfolds.
Believing Callum and Rayla to be the prophesied Chosen Two destined to end these blizzards, Kosmo and Astrid resolve to present them to the Elder. They explain the importance of the Chosen Two while learning of the group’s mission to destroy Aaravos, the fallen Startouch Elf.
Kosmo and Astrid then show the group to their sleeping quarters, advising them to rest in preparation for the fight ahead, where they might face death or be devoured by Esmeray. When asked if they need anything, Callum and Rayla decline, sending Kosmo and Astrid away. After successfully pacifying Esmeray and restoring moonless nights for the Celestial Elves, Kosmo and Astrid gift Callum's group the Corona of the Heavens, a tool to help free Rayla's family from the enchanted coins. The Celestial Elves then ascend to the Zenith to remove their blindfolds and see the stars. Upon gazing at the stars, Kosmo becomes Timeblind and, though he praises Astrid and Rayla’s true selves, he faints upon perceiving dark magic within Callum.
Kosmo has a vision where he sees himself destroying Callum’s spirit if he learns that Aaravos’s prison was not brought to the Star Scraper. Astrid reprimands him, stressing the importance of truth. To avoid the grim future he foresees, Kosmo lies about the prison’s location, promising to keep it safe at the Star Scraper. Later, Kosmo and Astrid reveal they can help cleanse Callum of dark magic through the Star-Truth ritual. Kosmo warns that using dark magic again will allow darkness and corruption to consume him. They begin the ritual at the Zenith after Astrid lets a Starweaver spider inject venom into Callum, making him sensitive to starlight and enabling him to seek his inner star. Kosmo urges Callum to fly towards the heavens to find the truth bright enough to dispel the darkness within him.
Later after the ritual was completed, Kosmo tells his sister that the Pearl was a fake, and Callum and Rayla didn't know. Astrid asks why he didn't tell them about it, with Kosmo quoting her words from an alternate timeline and explaining that doing so would be shifting them a burden they don't need right now as they must have all their strength for what comes next.
Book Seven: Dark
Having received a prophecy regarding Aaravos' plans for Xadia by bringing about "eternal night", Komos explains to his worried sister that Team Zym will not do anything against Him, becasue they do not know of the release of the Fallen Star, and that is what is to be. Later, he reveals all he now foresaw to his sister, so she can warn the Mage and the Warrior of the impending disaster.
Two weeks and a few days later, he is seen welcoming the construction of the new human realm replacing Katolis alongside many others, both elf and human: Evrkynd!
The Dragon King
Book One: Blood
Seven mortal years since the defeat and fleeting demise" of Archmage Aaravos, Kosmo beings to have new, disturbing prophetic visions of downright chaos and bloodthirsty violence surrounding himself and the rest of the Celestial elves, which he calls "blood visions." Unfortunately, he seems to have had foreseen his own murder brought about by the chaos and destruction by "the Silver Witch." It is these dire predictions of further doom that begin to cause a rift of dissension between him, Astrid and the Elder himself upon how to proceed to defend against such a vile and heinous threat that seems to be drawing further strength from the blood moon itself.
Personality
Kosmo was a reserved person dedicated to his role as a member of the Celestial elves but he was friendly and polite towards strangers to the Starscraper. He was also cautious of other people's feelings. In one of the timelines, Kosmo saw a future where he revealed to Callum that Aaravos manipulated him into taking the decoy prison instead of the real one. To avoid this, Kosmo did not tell Callum this so he could go through with his star cleansing the young mage of dark magic so he could keep his confidence. However Astrid pointed out that her brother may be timeline now but still describes him as "dumb" for telling Callum and Rayla the truth about the Pearl.
