Liy is a contestant in Battle for BFDI/BFB and its fifth season, Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. She is an anthropomorphic light switch with a sense of adventure. Liy first competes in Battle for B.F.D.I, where she joins Death P.A.C.T.
She competes for a second time in Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.
She helps out during her time in the show by saving the lives of other contestants, up until BFB 5 where she was eliminated. During the competition, she had made many allies and enemies through her adventurous attitude and willingness to help others.
She is voiced by Sabrina, who also voices Lightning in the same series.
Personality
Liy is described to be pushy and manipulative. Her actions are usually the result of her curiosity, like when she tried to climb Bell's string to see where it leads.
Liy is good natured though, she had revealed she had killed people in her past, but felt trauma from it, now wanting to prevent such things from happening.
She can get frustrated or bored easily, as she tries to escape the EXIT to escape to the outside world.
Biography
Prior to series
Liy's first appearance was in a joke video titled "BFDI APPISIOTE 225555555!!!!!" Stapy and Foldy also make their debut in this video as well.
Battle for B.F.D.I
Liy finally joins the actual series in Battle for B.F.D.I. She is seen with Tree, trying to persuade him to help get Teardrop to speak in the first episode. She also joins Death Pact after stating she had killed people before, but wants to better herself.
She does exceedingly well in preventing death as she had revealed she prevented 2753 out of the 2763 potential deaths, but was eliminated in Fortunate Ben. Where she states her intent of joining the team before being sent sucked up into the EXIT.
She had a chance to rejoin the show, but only received 2,095 votes, which was not enough to rejoin.
Liy would try to escape her confinement afterwards failing to do so until the stinger of TPOT 1, where she finally opens the EXIT door to an unknown location. In TPOT 7 in the E.X.I.T, after a long time, it’s finally shown what lies past it. After Liy opens the door, an alarm sounds, and a giant Four hand comes out to grab the E.X.I.T.ors back. Four only succeeds in grabbing Roboty, who was being dragged by David. Everyone leaves the former to Four of which he says that they will regret this. The door shuts, and the characters traverse the hallway guided by Bracelety and Ice Cube (which isn't even aware of the situation), getting more cursed along the way. They eventually enter The Fourest, of which they regret going. The episode then ends on a cliffhanger.
Trivia
- Liy has prevented the most deaths out of any member of Death P.A.C.T., with 2753 out of 2763 potential deaths.
- Liy and Three have a lot in common:
- Numerically, she was the third character revealed in "BFDI APPISIOTE 225555555!!!!!", the third permanent elimination in Battle for BFDI, and takes third place in the battle royale in "Last One Standing".
- She has also been the first to notice Three's presence on several occasions, pointing out her cell in Four's fourtress in "Out of the Blue" and questioning her appearance when the hosts change in "Seasonal Shift".
- In "Last One Standing", Pencil smashes Liy into pieces to place her third in the competition, then later attempts and fails to resurrect her when trying to use Four's power. This parallels One shattering Three, then attempting to resurrect her afterwards, revealed in "Alone".
- She and Lightning have many similarities:
- Both have the same voice actress.
- Both were at one point joined an iteration of Death P.A.C.T.
- Both having killed people in the past and feeling guilt.
- Both having names beginning with Li-.
- Liy wants to be an empress, so that she could state "I, Empress, am pressed and impressed".
