Mylène Haprèle is a major character from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. In season 4, she receives the Mouse Miraculous from Ladybug, which, when inhabited by the kwami Mullo, can transform her into Polymouse, a mouse-themed superheroine.
She is voiced by Jessica Gee in the English dub and Jessie Lambotte in the French version.
Appearance
Physical appearance
Mylène is quite short and chubby with blonde hair styled into dreadlocks with some strands dyed strong malachite green, vivid cornflower blue, and brilliant rose. A dreadlock on the left side of her head has a purple cat bead; another dreadlock on her right side has a golden loop and moderate gamboge eyes and pale magenta lipstick.
Civilian attire
She wears a pink bandana to hold her hair back, and she has a necklace with a stone pendant. She wears a cornflower blue T-shirt with a white silhouette design on the front of a pigeon holding a olive tree branch with 3 leaves, which is underneath an grayish lime green jacket with a hood. There are pins attached to her jacket: on the right side, she has a daisy pin; on the left side, she has a ladybug pin, a panda pin, and a yellow and green pin. Additionally, she wears moderate tangelo jean shorts, very brown leggings, and dark purple and white sneakers. She is often seen wearing the pin that Ivan gives her in the episode Horrificator.
As Polymouse
As Polymouse, Mylène has moderate green eyes, and her hair is still braided, but is light brilliant rose-colored and shorter, tied into a pigtail in the back of her head. Which is hidden by a medium gray jacket with a hood which bears mouse ears with light pink insides.
She wears a medium gray mouse-themed turtlenecked jumpsuit with a pale pink front, starting from her collar to her thighs. And pale pink gloves and boots with light amaranth borders, fingers and soles, which have magentaish black mouse footprint markings. And a light gray face mask with pale pink eyelids and borders, and a brilliant crimson accent on the bridge of her nose, resembling a nose. The jump rope, when not in use, is tied in her hips, resembling a mouse's tail. The gray material of her costume seems to be iridescent as it shines pink in some lighting.
Personality
Mylène is a meek and cordial girl. Although she tries to be brave, she is easily frightened by anything that she sees as scary, which she is ashamed of and even cries about in "Horrificator". She also is sensitive to being made fun of and is hurt by Chloé's mean remarks about her. She appreciates kindness, and she speaks very fondly of those she loves. According to Marinette in the webisode with the same name, Mylène always tries to look for the best in people.
As Polymouse, Mylène's personality mostly remains the same, but she shows more confidence and bravery.
Powers and abilities
As a civilian
Mylène is a decent actress, being chosen for the leading role in the class's film. However, it's hard for her to stay in character when she is scared by something, like Ivan's mask.
As Polymouse
Polymouse has enchanted abilities like speed and strength, and most notably agility, being able to jump much higher than either Ladybug or Cat Noir. Her special ability, Multiply, allows her to create duplicates of herself to fight multiple opponents at the same time. However, upon using it, she is on a time delay before she has to revert back to allow her Kwami time to recuperate before she can transform again, but if she can overcome the failsafe through sheer willpower as Ladybug and Cat Noir did with their Miraculous, she'll be able to use Multiply repeatedly without needing to revert back to recuperate between uses.

In "Horrificator", she is corrupted by Hawk Moth into the titular supervillain that grows more powerful the more feared she is.

In "Mega Leech", Ladybug gives the Mouse Miraculous to Mylène to help defeat André Bourgeois, who has been transformed by Hawk Moth into Malediktator again. She meet Mullo, the mouse kwami, and transforms into Polymouse for the first time.
In "Gang of Secrets", when Marinette angrily snaps at Mylene, Alya, Rose, Juleka, and Alix and orders them out of her room, their heartbroken state allows Shadow Moth to Akumatize them, causing Mylene to become Horrificator again as part of the newly-dubbed Gang of Secrets to hunt down Marinette. She is later restored when Cat Noir and Ladybug destroy the friendship bracelet in Timebreaker's possession that contained the Akuma, purify it, and fix the damage with Miraculous Ladybug.
Season 5
In "Jubilation", Polymouse is among the superheroes attending Ladybug and Cat Noir's wedding in the dream caused by Gift/Jubilation when they are fighting Darker Owl in reality.
In "Determination", to try and help restore morale to Paris because of losing Polymouse and the other heroes, Grevin Museum curator Veronique has a wax figurine of Polymouse made, alongside those of the rest of the team, in hopes of helping to boost hope. When Mayor Bourgeois, under Chloe's influence again, refuses to let the figures be displayed, Veronique is Akumatized by Monarch into Manipula, bringing the wax figures of Polymouse and the others to life to try and make Manipula look like a hero by bringing the team back.
In the season finale, "The Final Day", Mylene is part of the Resistance as they fight against the Miraculized as part of Monarch's Operation Perfect Alliance, later joined by the United Heroez, Ladydragon, and the Guardians under Grandmaster Su-Han, but it is a losing fight. She helps to free Ivan of his own Miraculized transformation before assuring him he's safe when he is still plagued by Nightormentor's nightmares. As shown in "Miraculous World London", after Ladybug used her Miraculous Ladybug to undo the effects of Operation Perfect Alliance and restore everyone to normal, Marinette later restores the Miraculous to their original forms, and entrusts Mullo to Mylene permanently, allowing her to become Polymouse again as the French Miraculous Superhero Team is reunited for whatever the next Hawk Moth in Lila Rossi/Cerise Bianca, has planned for them.
Season 6
Since being entrusted with the Mouse Miraculous, Mylene has been granted permission by Marinette to use the Miraculous for other heroic acts when Paris is not being threatened by an Akumatized supervillain. She has also overcome the limiter failsafe on the Mouse Miraculous, allowing her to use her special ability repeatedly without needing to revert back to give Mullo time to recuperate.
In "The Illustrhater", Polymouse is trying to help recover the ball from a pair of children that rolled under a van, but Ladybug, due to Marinette's paranoia about leaving Paris' wellbeing to the other members of Team Miraculous, arrives to do it herself, much to Polymouse's confusion and chagrin, which Cat Noir takes notice of when he shows up to investigate, and decides to speak to Ladybug about it.
In "Daddycop", Mylene, along with Alya, Rose, Juleka, Kagami, and Zoe, are preparing for their weekly girls movie night at Marinette's, but Marinette had planned to celebrate her 100th kiss with Adrien that same night. When they notice Sabrina and how she had been alone since Chloé was exiled from Paris, they decide to invite her, through Zoe, to the movie night. Unfortunately, Marinette assumed they were okay with her inviting Adrien so she could still have her dinner date with him, and when Sabrina is heartbroken after Marinette told her the truth, when they learn of it, fearing for Sabrina's well-being, they rush to help and comfort her, but are confronted by her father, Lt. Roger Raincomprix, Akumatized into Daddycop by Chrysalis. Mylene is among the first victims of Daddycop to be brainwashed into becoming a zombie who loves Sabrina and attempt to chase her down to comfort her, but later, thanks to a group effort by Ladybug, Cat Noir, Pegasus, and Miss Hound, Mylene and the other victims are returned to normal, stunned and confused by what happened. Later, back at Marinette's, Sabrina apologizes for her sins when she was helping Chloé and hopes for a fresh start with the other female members of Team Miraculous. Mylene and the other girls reassure her Chloé is nothing but a bad memory for all of them now and Sabrina has a chance to truly be herself now and not be in the shadow of someone like Chloé anymore, giving Sabrina a group hug to show they are there to help her now. Later, Sabrina appears at school sporting a new appearance now that she can just be herself, and Mylene and the other members of Team Miraculous offer positive reactions to it.
In "El Toro de Piedra", Mylene is helping Kitty Section get ready for a concert to thank Mayoress Bustier for her services as their teacher, but soon notices Ivan looking upset and frustrated. After he wrecks his drum set from playing it too hard because of his inner stress, he storms out of the room, despite Mylene's efforts to get him to talk to them about what's wrong. Nevertheless, Mylene joins Marinette, Adrien, Rose, Juleka, Alya, and the other Miraculers with thanking Caline for being their teacher, earning her a standing ovation from Principal Damocles and the other guests. However, Ivan has not returned to join the band, and Mylene's efforts to call her "teddy bear" fail as Ivan doesn't answer. Marinette excuses herself under the surmise to go find him, but when she doesn't return, and Luka can't restore his satellite link to join the band himself via webcam from Brazil, all eyes turn to Juleka to perform solo. Despite her hesitance, a kiss from Rose gives her the morale boost to perform, and she puts on an amazing performance. Back in the rehearsal studio, Ivan apologizes for his earlier behavior, and the others forgive him, with Mylene assuring her teddy bear to talk to them if he ever has problems again as they can help him out.
At the start of "Revelator", Polymouse is with the rest of the team as, under Cat Noir and Ladybug's guidance, they attempt to unlock their adult Miraculous powers through sheer willpower. While some fail and need to recharge their Kwamis and transform again before resuming, everyone manages to successfully unlock their adult Miraculous powers and enable their ability to stay transformed indefinitely before manually reverting back by saying their power down catchphrase. To celebrate their accomplishment, Ladybug dubs the team, "The Miraculers", which they all agree on.
In "Noe", a video Mylene posted of Paris' new eco-friendly plans under Mayoress Bustier is seen by The Kingdom. Angered and disgusted by this blasphemy against their plans for the Perfect World Project, The Kingdom makes plans to try and ruin it as things were working in their favor when Andre Bourgeois was still Mayor before he resigned and then his daughter Chloé was overthrown by the people of Paris rising up in revolt against her. In the meantime, Mylene also was supporting her father Fred as he tried to make ends meet with doing his mime act, when he gets an invitation to perform for a potential role for a new film being developed by Luxus Corp. and their film industry. However, after he and Mylene look over the script and discover what it says, Mylene calls Marinette and Adrien, and when the Hapreles show up at Marinette's, joined by TVi anchorwoman Nadja Chamack, who came to pick up her daughter that Marinette was babysitting, Fred and Mylene reveal that the script depicts Ladybug and Cat Noir as supervillains in league with Monarch. When they finish reciting the script, Adrien and Marinette are disgusted and angered by the disgraceful portrayal of their secret Miraculous superhero identities, and Nadja agrees to discuss this on the news. However, when Nadja arrives at work, she finds that TVi News has a new stockholder in Noe Luxus, the CEO of Luxus Corp., and is promptly fired and replaced by Mr. Banana, who then slanders Mayoress Bustier and interviews Noe, who offers to put his name on the ballot to become Mayor if Bustier is impeached. Realizing this could ruin everything they've worked for and put Paris back under how it was under Andre Bourgeois, Mylene has a meltdown and retreats to her room in a panic, and Mullo is unable to calm her down. Chrysalis tries to take advantage by Akuamtizing Mylene, but she is able to fight off the Akumatization, refusing to be swayed into becoming Horrificator again, or something else. Overhearing this, Fred thinks it is directed at him, and growing furious himself, decides to storm down to the news station to confront Noe. Unfortunately, having failed to Akumatize Mylene, Chrysalis goes for him instead, convincing him to become The Mime again. Mylene remains in her room as Ivan tries to talk to her through the door, when they both receive Ladybug's summon for help through the Miraculous Call. Realizing that Ladybug needs her, Mylene overcomes her meltdown, reassures Ivan she'll be fine, thus allowing him to transform into Minotaurox without worry, and transforms with Mullo into Polymouse. When they meet up with Ladybug and Cat Noir, Polymouse is assigned to hunt down Noe due to him having used decoy limousines to throw The Mime off his trail, while Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Minotaurox restrain The Mime. When Polymouse finds the limo that Noe is in, she's able to subdue him and take him back to the TVi studio. From there, Polymouse then speaks into The Mime's ear, since it was still her father Fred, and convinces him to reject the Ultrakuma and speak to Noe face-to-face. Thanks to her help, Fred calms down, de-Akumatizes himself, and then confronts Noe for his actions. Realizing his error, Noe apologizes to everyone, and agrees not to go through with the film that would slander Ladybug and Cat Noir. Back home, Mylene watches as Nadja starts a new web show on the Zoo application, and Mayoress Bustier remains in office after it was proven she was elected fair and square, so it seems Paris will still be on track to continue Bustier's eco-friendly policy, despite Noe and his company's interference. Unknown to Mylene or anyone else, Noe is actually the son of Audrey Bourgeois, making him Zoe and Chloé's half-brother, and his actions were just the first step to helping his mother take revenge on Paris for events back in "Revolution", and ensure The Kingdom reclaims their control of Paris that was ended when Andre resigned and Chloé was overthrown.

- Mylène Haprèle is the tenth person to become a Miraculous holder who was also an Akumatized villain, following Nino Lahiffe in "The Bubbler", Alya Césaire in "Lady Wifi", Lê Chiến Kim in "Dark Cupid", Alix Kubdel in "Timebreaker", Max Kanté in "Gamer", Chloé Bourgeois in "Antibug", Rose Lavillant in "Princess Fragrance", Kagami Tsurugi in "Riposte", and Luka Couffaine in "Silencer", and Zoé Lee in "Sole Crusher" but excluding Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth, who Akumatized himself in "The Collector" into the titular villain.
