Queen Poppy Help Primrose Springwater, better known as Queen Poppy Springwater, simply known as Poppy is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Branch) of DreamWorks' Trolls franchise.
She's the queen (formerly the princess) of the Pop Trolls who always sees the bright side in life, even through its darkest moments. Such matter is often expressed through music, something that she's fond of. She is also King Peppy's younger daughter, Viva's younger sister, and Branch's best friend-turned-girlfriend.

Personality
Poppy is a lead, a relentlessly upbeat if slightly naive Troll whose father King Peppy saved his subjects from the Troll-hungry Bergens. Despite this, Poppy is incredibly noble and responsible as she risks her life to go on a perilous journey to save her friends. As she and her group of nine friends, the Snack Pack, face their biggest challenge ever, Poppy is faced for the first time in her life with a problem that apparently can't be solved with a song, a dance and a hug. But after some hilarious attempts at saving the day, Poppy discovers that being true to anyone else is always the best answer.
Appearance
Poppy's normal attire
Poppy has a flamingo pink skin complexion with rosy cheeks and glitter freckles. Her hair color is hot pink that sticks up in the air naturally, with side-swept bangs that cover her left eyebrow. Her nose is the same color, and so are her eyes and eyebrows. Her ears curve up slightly, and like the other Trolls, she has four fingers on each hand and four toes on each foot. Her main outfit is a blue dress held together by a white stitch on the shoulder, with a light blue wavy spade design. She has a green headband with blue flowers, and she wears a purple and blue hug-time bracelet that opens up into a pink flower when it's hug time. At the beginning of the film, Poppy's hair is loose, but during the 20 Year Celebration and the rest of the movie, it's put up into a straight ponytail held together by a blue hair tie. Poppy's model has a unique head, and her hairstyle isn't shared by any other Troll. It's rounder and much less wide than the standard Trolls. Her dress and headband are also uniquely designed. In Trolls World Tour, her design is mostly the same, though she now wears a crown instead of her headband.

Narrations
| “ | Once upon a time, in a happy forest, in the happiest tree, lived the happiest creatures the world has ever known. The Trolls. They loved nothing more than to sing, and dance, and hug. Dance, and hug, and sing, and dance, and sing, and hug, and dance, and hug, and dance, and sing, and hug, and dance, and hug... But then one day, the Trolls were discovered by a Bergen! The Bergens didn't know how to sing, or dance, or even hug. They were the most miserable creatures in all the land. And once they saw how happy the Trolls were, they wanted some of that happiness for themselves. Eating a Troll made them feel so happy, they started a tradition. Once a year, every year, the Bergens would gather around the Troll tree to taste happiness, on a holiday they called... Trollstice. | „ |

| “ | With her friends safely hidden... Princess Poppy set off to rescue her other friends, confident she'd make it to Bergen Town on her own. Convinced she'd make it to Bergen Town. | „ |

| “ | In the beginning, we were divided. Our ancestors thought we were just too different to get along. It turns out they were wrong. Very, very wrong. You have to be able to listen to other voices, even when they don't agree with you. They make us stronger, more creative, more inspired. So whether your song is sad and heartfelt, loud and defiant, or warm and funky, or even if you're a little bit of each, it's all these sounds and all our differences that make the world a richer place. Because you can't harmonize alone. | „ |
| ~ Poppy's ending narration in the second movie. |
