Sparkplug is a supporting character in the 2025 indie strategy arcade game Nubby's Number Factory. He is the manager of the warehouse, which is a place where the player can buy cosmetics. They can also go to Sparkplug for fun facts surrounding the factory.
He was portrayed by Ethan Anderson, better known as Mogdogblog Productions, who also played Tony and the rest of the game's supervisors in the same game.
Appearance
Sparkplug is a Caucasian man with brown hair. He wears an asbestos gas mask, a dark-coloured sweater, some blue jorts, mismatched socks, steel-toe boots and what appears to be a bandana on his head.
Personality
Trivia
- Sparkplug is the first live-action character in the game to not be a supervisor.
- He is the second live-action character to have no spoken voice lines behind Glass Tony, whose dialogue consists entirely of glass clinking/breaking sounds.
- Originally, the plan was for the warehouse to solely be a "lore index", while the cosmetic shop would be a part of a different menu stylised as a shop run by another live-action human called "Lady La Mode". This was cut due to time, however, but due to Sparkplug's popularity amongst fans, the warehouse was changed from the lore section to the cosmetics section, and Lady La Mode was dragged into the streets by her hair and executed publicly by Hunter Tony.
- The idea of a lore section still lives on in the fun facts Sparkplug provides if one clicks on him, as well as the descriptions of Nubby's cosmetics.
