Bone Shaker is one of the nine main protagonists of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Camp Crush cartoon series, along with his friends. He is a sentient monster truck that lives on Monster Truck Island with his friends and often tries to compete in challenges with them or help them when something on the island goes wrong. He is known for being Skelesaurus' pawn, where he gets brainwashed in the finale of season 3 of the show by Skelesaurus to do his evil deeds. He does eventually betray Skelesaurus after he gets free from his brainwashing, however. He is known to be hotheaded, and temperamental, but he can still be a good person regardless.

Appearance

Normal form

Bone Shaker is one of three characters in the show to have their design inspired by a Hot Wheels car of the same name, the others being 5 Alarm and Motosaurus. His primary paint job is black. He has a big engine on the front that goes up through his hood, with a grill in the shape of a skull on the front. On his right side, he has a skull, with flames coming from the side, with it looking like it's coming from his exhaust pipes. On his left, he has more flames, which go along the door, and form the Hot Wheels logo. He has the same skull logo from his right side on the roof as well. His tailgate has some sort of oxygen tank on it. He has a red roll cage, with a chrome chassis, and black tires with black rims and red beadlocks.

Team Dino form

His Team Dino form changes his tires from black to orange, with magma along the sides of his tires and body. His chassis is also now yellow instead of chrome.

Neon form

This form adds neon lights all over his body.

Phantom Trophy form

His Phantom Trophy form allows him to turn invisible at will. When he turns invisible, his entire body changes to a transparent purple, with the Phantom Trophy on his back, and colored blue.

Big Rig form

Bone Shaker's Big Rig form elongates him more, giving him six wheels instead of the usual four. His front end is shortened a little bit, and the skull grill on the front is bigger. He has a row of caution tape above his windshield that has his name written across it, and the skull remains on the roof. His right side contains of a long row of caution tape on it, with flames, the skull logo, and the Hot Wheels logo. His left side is nearly identical, except he has a big exhaust stack behind his cab, and the skull is also present on the left side towards the back. He has a massive tow hook attached to his cab, that he can use to tow others at will. The flat bed underneath it has flames coming from under the bar used to hold the tow hook in the place, with two oxygen tanks on it. He maintains the red roll cage, chrome chassis, and black tires with black rims with red bead locks.

Personality

Bone Shaker is easily the biggest hothead of the Camp Crush Crew. He has a very short temper, and can get angered when teased, when something doesn't go his way, or when he messes something up. He is often full of himself, and can be narcissistic at times, wanting to be the leader of the team. A good example of this is during season 2, where he and Bigfoot argue about who should lead the two during Camp Crush. He can be extremely petty when he gets angry, as when Gunkster pranks him and his friends in season 3, he suggests to take out Gunkster's spark plugs. He can also be manipulated quite easily. He often likes to go in to situations right off the bat, even when some situations can place himself, or his friends in danger, because either such situation makes him angry, he thinks the situation will help him achieve his goals, or he gets pulled into the situation, such as when Skelesaurus brainwashes him during season 3.

Despite all his bad traits though, he has a lot of good traits to counter those. He can be a good leader when he has to, as he leads the team into saving Race Ace and Tiger Shark from a giant crocodile in season 1. He still deeply cares for his friends, as he attempts to sacrifice himself to make up for all the trouble he caused in the season 3 finale (albeit such trouble was caused by no fault of his own). He is also shown to be grateful, as in season 4, he sincerely tells Bigfoot thank you for saving his life from an active volcano. He can be a nice guy all in all, but he can also be a hothead at times.
