Logo
Gunkster is one of the nine main protagonists of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Camp Crush cartoon series, along with his friends, the Camp Crush Crew. He lives on Monster Truck Island with his friends and helps to protect the island from evil, although like his other friends, he can't resist having fun. Gunkster is the crew's prankster, always pulling pranks on his fellow trucks. He can't resist having fun, and loves all things messy, like slime or mud. He is voiced by Travis Carey, who voices Mega-Wrex in the same series.
Appearance
Normal form
Gunkster is one of two trucks in the franchise to have tire printings on him, with Demo Derby being the other. Gunkster has slime all over him, hence why he's colored green. His hood has slime running up from the grill all the way to the roof. He has half of the Hot Wheels logo on it, as well as his name spelled out underneath the windshield. His sides have one half of the Hot Wheels logo across them, along with caution tape running along the doors.
His logo is present on either side, above the rear fenders. His tailgate has his name spelled across the back, along with the Hot Wheels logo and caution tape. His roof has slime on it, as well as caution tape and the Hot Wheels logo. He has a green roll cage with a chrome chassis, and black tires with yellow rims with green bead locks on them. He also has slime printed on his tires.
Neon form
Like all of the neon forms, he doesn't change much here, as he now has neon lights all over his body.
Power Smasher form
His Power Smasher form gives him the most change. He has lightning bolts all over his body, symbolizing energy and electricity, which emits from his back. His roll cage is now a transparent gray color, with a blue chassis, and green tires with no tire printings, and clear rims.
Team Shark form
Like the rest of the Team Shark members, Gunkster now has a blue chassis with a blue windshield, blue tires with tire printings resembling water, and water on his body. His logo is also blue now instead of black.
Personality
Gunkster is the prankster of the Camp Crush Crew. He likes to tell jokes and do pranks on his fellow trucks, regardless if such jokes/pranks are cruel or unnecessary. Like his name implies, he loves anything that is "gunky". He hates being clean, and will do anything to make sure he stays dirty at all times. Due to this mentality, he can be immature when he's clean, as when 5 Alarm cleans him in season 2, he throws a massive crying fit, which leads to 5 Alarm calling him a "big baby". He can also be full of himself and be a dirty cheater, such as when he creates a treasure hunt in season 3, he not only steals Tetra Crystals for such treasure hunt, but hides them and makes the trucks search for them, only for him to get the crystals himself so he can win.

Alternate Logo
He is still inherently a good person at heart however. His pranks are typically done in an attempt to make his friends have fun. He has really good dynamics with 5 Alarm and Bigfoot, as both of which he seems to look up to, despite their differences. He and 5 Alarm get along especially well, despite starting out on not so good terms. He and 5 Alarm both teach each other that while you need to think before making a mess, getting messy can still be a lot of fun, which lead to them getting a good relationship. He is also smarter than he looks, as he manages to sweet talk Sparky into letting him past him to get a Tetra Crystal in season 3, and invents what he calls a "Gunk Detector" in season 4, although it ended up exploding due to him accidentally hitting the self-destruct button. He is quite the prankster, but he still has a big heart.
