Fireball is the tritagonist of the cartoon series Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. He is a pilot of the Ramrod Equalizer Unit and a member of the Star Sheriffs, a former race car driver and the youngest driving champion in history. Alongside his teammates, he fights against the Outriders and save the human dimension from their invasion. It's later revealed that his father, who he lost at a young age, actually sacrificed himself to thwart the Outriders' invasion on the human dimension several years ago.
He was voiced by Pat Fraley.
Appearance
Fireball is a young boy with brown hair, who wears a white suit with short sleeves. On his suit's upper half, there are red portions with a yellow line on his left chest. He has two dark blue armbands. He also wears a black belt with a pocket for his gun, and black booths.
His pilot suit is red and white, completed with a helmet.
Personality
Fireball has a quick temper, and even boasts of having a perfect memory at one point. He likes everything that relates to racing and piloting. Fireball also eventually starts a relationship with April Eagle due to Saber Rider's obliviousness to her feelings for him.
Role
Fireball was born to a fighter pilot. At a young age, his father left home and never return. In truth, Fireball's father tried to stop the Outriders' initial invasion against the human dimension and sacrificed himself in the process. At some point, Fireball participated car races and became the youngest racing champion of all time. He then joined the Calvary Command and served as their pilot.
Later, the Outriders lauch a second invasion, thanks to their leader Nemesis creating the Vapor Trail that allows them to cross over the human dimension. They attack the Settlers, destroy settlements, and kidnap humans to mine minerals from various planets. As a result, The Calvary Command decide to develop a transformable starship known as the Ramrod Equalizer Unit. As specialists are required to pilot it, Fireball alongside Saber Rider, April Eagle and Colt Willcox are chosen by the Calvary Command's leader Commander Eagle, forming the Star Sheriffs. From then on, Fireball alongside his teammates fight the Outriders to protect the human dimension from them. He also eventually starts a relationship with April due to Saber Rider's obliviousness to her feelings for him.

- In contrast to his original counterpart Shinji Hikari, Fireball is a secondary character instead of the main protagonist, the latter role of which instead went to Saber Rider, Richard Lancelot's counterpart.
