Lurch is a major character of The Addams Family franchise. He is also a minor character in the Netflix's TV Series Wednesday. He is the valet of the Addams family.

• In The Addams Family: A New Musical, he was portrayed by Zachary James, in the US Tour by Tom Corbeil, in Australia by Ben Hudson and by Marcelo Albamonte in Argentina.

• He was portrayed by John DeSantis in The New Addams Family 1998 TV show.

• He was voiced by Jim Cummings in the 1992 animated show, The Addams Family.

• He was portrayed by the late Pat McCormick in the 1972 musical show, The Addams Family Fun-House and he was portrayed by the late Ted Cassidy in The Addams Family 1964, Batman 1966, The New Scooby-Doo Movies, Halloween with the New Addams Family 1977 and The Addams Family 1973.

Appearance

He shares a large resemblance to the movie Frankenstein monster, being tall and has a square shaped head, and has pale skins in some adaptations. He is around 6 to 9 ft tall, has black hairs. He usually wears a blue lined dark blue suit, a black tie or sometime a black ribbon and a white shirt underneath.

In the 2019 and 2021 movie adaption, he has a larger zygomatic bone, has heterochromia with his right eye being black and his left being red and larger forehead.
