Player 015, is a minor character in the second season of Squid Game. He is a player in the 37th Squid Game, a former member of Team O and a member of Team X. He participated in Seong Gi-hun's revolt.
He was portrayed by Lee Ha-nee.
History
Player 015 accumulated a debt of more than ₩500 million after his business failed. This put him and his family in a desperate state, which led him to enter the Squid Game in 2024.
First appearing in "001", Player 015 survived the second game and changed his vote from "X" to "O". Hearing Kim Young-mi begging the players to vote "X", he explained the reason he has to continue playing, though he seemed to be genuinely sympathetic towards her.
In O X, Player 015 managed to reach the fifth round of Mingle, in which the number was 2. Everyone around him formed team and he was left alone while Park Min-su (Player 125) was left alone after Thanos (Player 230) teamed up with Nam-gyu (Player 124), fortunately Player 015 and Min-su saw each other, then quickly formed grasped each other and ran, Player 015 and Min-su managed to reach a room and save themselves from dying.
In the third vote, he changed his vote back to "X" and survived the Special Game. He later volunteered to join Gi-hun's revolt team.
He eventually met his end during the revolt as he was killed by Hwang In-ho.
Trivia
- He is credited as "선한남," (Seon Han-nam), which translates to "good man."
- During the second vote, he was told by Hwang In-ho that continuing playing might lead to his death, which won't help his family. Curiously, he was killed after voting to end the game, and the killer was the same In-ho.
- Aside from Cho Hyun-ju, Se-mi and Park Min-su, he was the only O player who did not chant "One more game!" during the second vote.
- Both this Player 015 and the female Player 015 from the 33rd Squid Game were eliminated outside of a game by another player.
