Team X are the main protagonists of Netflix's K-drama Squid Game.
It consists of several players of the 37th Squid Game who voted to stop the games. They later organize a group to fight the Masked Men in an attempt to liberate them from the Squid Game.
History
Foundation
In the 37th Squid Game, Seong Gi-hun returns to the competition with the goal of dismantling the game from within. He forms an alliance known as "Team X," composed of various participants who share his desire to take down the organization.
Team X sets out to sabotage the games and free the participants. During a revolt, they manage to overpower several guards and make their way to the control room. However, their efforts are thwarted when "Young-il" reveals his true identity as the Front Man. In a devastating twist, he betrays the group, kills Jung-bae in front of Gi-hun, and crushes the rebellion. This failed rebellion would tragically leave Team X greatly outnumbered in all later votes and games.

Trivia
- Not counting Hwang In-ho, Park Gyeong-seok is the only member of Team X that is still alive.
- Cho Hyun-ju is the only female member of Team X to join the rebellion.
- None of team x voted x 6 times.
- Unlike their 33rd Squid Game counterpart, the 37th Squid Game's Team X failed to vote for the game to end. However after The Special Game the voting was not fair anymore as Team O used violence and threats to win.
- As Hwang In-ho pointed out after the second vote hardly any Team X voter would want to change their vote to O as they were fine with less money. This was proven true only Min-su and Myung-gi willingly changed their votes to O any other switch to O after Mingle was unwilling because of fear or manipulation (Park Mi-hwa.)
- In a fair vote players were more likely to switch from O to X which is shown in the third vote where 7 Os switched to X but, after the Special Game it's implied some of Team O were now also too scared to vote against Team O, showing that the extremist members of Team O made sure Team X didn't have much of a chance to win the vote anymore.
- Despite this however Team X's ideology the value of life over money did prevail with the victory of Kim Jun-hee's baby while, all that Team O did for money with no value for life was for nothing giving Team X a spiritual win.
- In-ho, Nam-gyu and Myung-gi are the only members to have a page on villains wiki.
- Team X is indirectly mentioned by The Recruiter in Season 2's first episode Bread and Lottery, which is what the bread he offers the homeless represents. The bread means an immediate safe option that guarantees survival and life even if it may not be a long term solution.
- Team X members are less likely to betray and kill each other compared to Team O's. This is due to their members being motivated by selflessness (the antithesis to the O's selfishness), and did everything to ensure the safety of everyone, they also put everyone above themselves and were fine with dying as long as they could save lives.
- 8 out of the 33 members (without counting those who defected to Team O) are Seekers during Hide-and-Seek: Seong Gi-hun, Park Yong-sik, Park Min-su, Nam-gyu, Player 080, Player 209, Player 349 and Player 359.
- Two members of Team X, Gi-hun and Min-su, managed to become a member of the finalists.
- The Team X button when pressed sounds like a heart is pumping on a monitor representing life.
- Seong Gi-hun, Park Min-su, Cho Hyun-ju and Lee Myung-gi all did indirectly avenge most of the members of Team X that were killed in the Special Game. As they each killed most of the Team O members that had the most involvement and planning.
- Seong Gi-hun killed Player 096 and Kim Gi-min.
- Cho Hyun-ju killed Kim Yeong-sam.
- Park Min-su lured Nam-gyu to his death.
- Lee Myung-gi killed Im Jeong-dae and Lee Seung-won.
