Robur is a supporting character in the 2024 Roblox RPG game Block Tales, serving as a major character of the game's fifth chapter, Trouble on the Heights.
He is a council member apart of the Trinity located on the Heights and the leader of the Splintered Skies faction. During the storyline, he initially assigns Cassie to stay with the player in the castle, but eventually is willing to help them out when they adventure out and eventually enter his court for help.
Appearance
Robur is a Robloxian entirely suited in blue armor with white outlines, a gray gambeson underneath it, and a white fluff around his head. His helmet's design features a v-shape opening, wings on the sides, and a giant white curved plume. As shown without his helmet, Robur has light cyan skin and white spiked hair. His choice of weapons are two icicle-designed swords.
Personality
Robur is the most laid-back of the trio, though he tends to be parotic, sophisticated, and serious when it comes to the Trinity. The most notable incident is if the player states that Xargas, the founding father of the Trinity is the ruler of the Korblox Empire, where Robur, disgusted by their answer, orders them out of his court and has them imprisoned. Following Kleos' passing, he has taken on a father figure role to Cassie, and ensuring her protection against any enemies, even dragging her body to the sidelines after Arg'il knocks her out. He however is also a jokester, liking to play around with Reginald at the end of the chapter following the latter's redemption. Despite fighting the player, he is rather reluctant unlike the other two, even going so far to apologize to them if he the one to defeat them.
Biography
Robur appears alongside the other Trinity council members as the player and Telamon arrive at the castle for Cassie's rise to monarchy. Robur gives a speech about Cassie if she is ready to receive the title of the Wind Walker, but he is interrupted by fellow council member Reginald, who detests against Cassie, leading to an argument between the two. Eventually all three settle that Cassie is suitable for the throne as Robur investitures her with the Brigand's Sword. When Reginald speaks up about this, Robur starts to argue with him again until Azuri silences them both.
Soon, the Korblox Empire invades the Trinity castle and knock out Cassie as Robur drags her off to the side to see if she is okay. The player defeats the Korbloxs as the rest of the character defend from their leader, Arg'il. He retreats and Reginald belittles Cassie for her lack of combat experience, something that both Robur and Azuri agree with him on. The three council members then teleport back to their respective empires to prepare themselves for battle against the Korbloxs, with the promise of the player looking after Cassie in the castle.
After the player and Cassie decide to adventure around the town and defeat Reginald when arriving at his castle in Redcliff, he flees in order to tell on the former that they attacked him to both Robur and Azuri. The duo hurry after to Splintered Skies and arrive at Robur's court, having already heard Reginald's report on them and prepares them for an interrogation where they must answer truthfully. Answering with lies only leads to Robur declaring the player to be arrested, leading to a non-canonical game over. If the player answers with the truth, Robur views them with good intentions and is a key figure into playing a role with Kleos' final request, and rewards Cassie with his Sanctum Shard used to access the Windforce.
After claiming all three Sanctum Shards, Cassie hurries back to the Trinity Castle to claim the Windforce while the player follows behind. The three council members including Robur block the player in their path from accessing the Sanctum. They will allow access if the player bests them in a 1-vs.-3 battle as Azuri lifts everyone up onto a battle field in the sky. The player defeats the trio as they collapse on the floor, exhausted, now allowing them access to the Sanctum.
After both the player and Cassie defeat Arg'il and end his reign of terror over the Heights, they re-enter the castle court where the council members are, having recovered. When Reginald accuses the player of stealing the Windforce and knocking Cassie out unconscious, (in reality, she just exhausted herself from fighting Arg'il) Azuri points out the player does not even have the Windforce, leaving the rest of the council members shocked. Reginald begins to stutter, as Robur aims him towards the more serious problem at hand.
As Arg'il was killed, Robur finds that picking off the rest of the empire will be easy, and advises the player to rest while he and the others handle the rest to end the war and repair the city. Afterwards, Robur and the others recoup at the castle's court where he apologizes to Cassie for underestimating her and choosing the others over her for her safety, and asking her being aware of the visions' effects on her. When Leer appears to steal the Windforce for himself, Robur wards him off from attempting this act of theft. Before the player leaves the Trinity castle with the Windforce in their possession, Robur gives them a gold bar as a gift in the name of all the council members as thanks for their heroism before wishing them luck on the rest of their journey.
Robur appears on floor fifty-nine of the pit, where he is fought with the other two council members and Toothy Deer.
