~ Chicken Little's catchphrase.
“
You're never there for me! You're never there for me. I mean, you were when I won the big game but not when I thought the sky fell, and not at the ball field, and certainly not now! You've been ashamed of me ever since the acorn thing happened and we have to talk about it because Modern Mallard says avoiding closure can lead to molting, and I'm already small, and on top of that, I don't think I could handle being bald!
„
~ Chicken Little calling out Buck Cluck for never being there for him at the cinema.
“
By the way, I'd like to say I've always found you extremely attractive!

~ Chicken Little to Abby Mallard before their first kiss.
Ace Cluck, better known as Chicken Little, is the titular main protagonist of Disney's 46th full-length animated feature film of the same name, based on the European folk tale Henny Penny.
He is a young rooster who was outcasted and ridiculed by the townspeople of Oakey Oaks after claiming that the sky was "falling" when a hexagonal panel from a UFO fell on him. This all changes when he met and befriended Kirby, a young orange alien who suddenly arrived on planet Earth and whom the aliens, lead by Kirby's father Melvin, were tracking down.
Chicken Little was originally written as a female character to have been voiced by Holly Hunter, though plans shifted when executives asked for more of a father-son dynamic in the film.
Personality
Even though Chicken Little is pretty smart, he tends to worry a lot and can act without thinking, which caused the big misunderstanding where he thought the sky was falling. But after that, he stays strong and hopeful, wanting to prove himself to everyone, especially his dad, because he really wants his approval. He's also a kind and caring guy, especially towards the people he loves the most, like his family and friends. When he meets Kirby, who is just a lost kid looking for his parents, he shows the same kindness and support.
Biography
Chicken Little is first seen causing panic amongst his hometown of Oaky Oaks by ringing the school bell and warning them that the sky is falling, which causes everyone to believe that he is crazy. When he tries to show everyone that he wasn't making the story up, an acorn falls and hits him on the head, which causes his father, Buck, to apologize to them and further embarrasses him.
One year after this incident, Chicken Little has become the towns laughingstock, with embarrassing merchandise, including posters, bumper stickers, billboards, etc., being portrayed and sold around the town. It is even revealed that movie producers are making a movie about Chicken Little's antics called "Crazy Little Chicken", much to his and his dad's embarrassment. This causes Chicken Little and Buck to keep low profiles amongst themselves to avoid being seen, with Buck even telling his son to "lay low" after he drops his son off at the bus stop.
After he gets dropped off by his dad, Chicken Little encounters a series of misfortunes while trying to get to school, including missing the bus, stepping in gum and losing his pants, and getting stuck in his locker. However, he manages to free himself and meet up with his friends Abby, Runt, and Fish at gym class, where he tells Abby that he has a plan to try and make his dad proud of him and make everyone forget the piece of the sky incident once and for all. However, after he tries to stand up to Foxy Loxy after she bullies his friends, Chicken Little accidentally pulls the fire alarm and sets off the gym's sprinkler system and gets sent to the principal's office.
That night, when Buck gets chewed out by the principal for the trouble his son caused at school, Chicken Little sees a picture of his father as a baseball player in the principal's office, revealing that he was a star baseball player when he attended school. This gives Chicken Little an idea to try and play baseball to make it up to his father for his past antics. He reveals his idea to Buck and, although hesitant at first, Buck allows his son to try out.
Chicken Little eventually makes the roster, albeit mostly being the outcast of the team. In the championship game, when most of the Acorns are injured and Coach has to use his reserve players, Chicken Little finally gets his chance. However, when it is his turn to bat with the game on the line, the entire town, including Buck, gets discouraged and assume that Chicken Little will blow it. However, Chicken Little stunningly gets a base hit and ties the game. However, a chain of events causes him to keep running as the other team attempts to recollect themselves. Chicken Little eventually tries to score the winning run, and is initially called out at home plate, which makes everyone feel devastated. However, after the umpire dusts off home plate and sees his foot on the bag, he calls him safe and declares the game over. This causes everyone to praise Chicken Little as a hero for his heroics and finally makes his father proud of him, and the two celebrate together and assume that the game finally put the sky is falling incident behind them for good.
However, things take a different turn when Chicken Little encounters a hexagonal-shaped object fall on top of him in his bedroom. Seeing that it is the same "piece of the sky" that hit him the previous year, Chicken Little calls his friends and brings them over to his house to show them. Fish eventually activates the object and flies away on it, which causes Chicken Little, Abby and Runt to chase after him. When they arrive at the baseball field, an alien spaceship forms in the sky and lands in the middle of the baseball diamond and two aliens exit the ship and roam around Oaky Oaks. The trio infiltrate the ship and rescue Fish, but later see a map with all the planets in the solar system X'd out, except for Earth, which is circled. Thinking that the aliens destroyed the other planets and will destroy Earth next, the group attempts to escape, but are confronted by the same aliens that exited the ship.
After a lengthy chase throughout Oaky Oaks, Chicken Little and his friends attempt to alert the town by ringing the school bell to warn the townsfolk of the alien's presence. However, before Chicken Little can show them the ship, the aliens board it and fly away. Assuming that Chicken Little has again lost his mind, the entire town confronts Buck for not keeping his son under control and being a bad parent. Chicken Little pleads with Buck to believe him, but Buck refuses, much to Chicken Little's shock and heartbreak.
The next day, while his dad receives angry phone calls and emails from angry residents over the incident, Chicken Little isolates himself in his backyard, and Abby tries to persuade him to talk to his dad, but Chicken Little insists that it's too late to try and make things up, and his friends abandon him.
However, things take another turn when Chicken Little encounters an orange, three-eyed alien named Kirby in his backyard. When Kirby reveals that he was accidentally left behind by his parents (who are the two aliens that the group encountered the previous night and the reason they were chased by them), dozens of spaceships begin to invade the town and take it hostage, much to everyone's horror. As Kirby escapes and Chicken Little tries to chase after him, Buck stops him and attempts to evacuate the duo by driving out of town. Chicken Little tries to tell his father that the entire invasion is a rescue mission to save Kirby, but Buck fails to understand the situation. Finally fed up with his lack of understanding and his past failures to believe in him, Chicken Little runs after Kirby, ignoring his fathers pleas for him to come back.
Chicken Little chases Kirby to the movie theater, but Buck arrives and once again tries to take his son with him. After the two have a brief argument, Chicken Little, with encouragement from Abby, finally stands up to his dad and calls him out for his past failures and his lack of understanding of him. This causes Buck to finally apologize to Chicken Little for misunderstanding him in the past and promises to do better, and the two make up with a hug. The two then embark on a journey across town to Town Hall to reunite Kirby with his parents. When they get there, Chicken Little pleads with the aliens to stop the invasion, but the duo are zapped by them and teleported onboard the ship to a black portal.
Kirby's father, Melvin, confronts them and accuses them of taking Kirby, but Buck stands up for Chicken Little and claims that he, along with his wife, Tina, left him behind, and (hypocritically) calls it "bad parenting". In response, Melvin attempts to annihilate the two with his "big guns", to which Chicken Little and Buck cower in fear. However, Kirby, along with Tina, reason with Melvin and tell him that the entire incident was a misunderstanding and pleads with him to spare them, to which he agrees and frees them, along with the rest of the town. The aliens apologize for their actions and claim that they are not hostile, and that the map onboard their ship was actually how they find their acorns and the X'd out ones were the planets where they didn't find them. Tina then reveals that she and Melvin stop in Oaky Oaks every year on their way to their in-laws' place. Before they leave, the hexagonal-shaped object that hit Chicken Little on the head drops off their ship, with it revealed to actually be one of the ship's panels. Tina reveals that it always falls off when they come to Oaky Oaks and that someday it will hit someone on the head, which stuns everyone as they now realize that Chicken Little was telling the truth all along.
Another year after this incident, the movie about Chicken Little is remade and portrays Chicken Little as a hero rather than a punching bag. Everyone gathers in the theater to see it, and applauds Chicken Little and Buck after it ends. And finally, Chicken Little, along with his father, friends, and the rest of Oaky Oaks, sing "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" during the end credits.

Kingdom Hearts II
Little is a Summon that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. He is obtained by talking to Merlin after visiting The Land of Dragons and Beast's Castle (or Olympus Coliseum if Sora skipped either of the aforementioned worlds). To summon him, Sora uses the Baseball Charm he receives from Merlin.
When Sora, Donald and Goofy return to Hollow Bastion they reunite with old friends and Sora's magic instructor Merlin who re-teaches Sora some magic attacks, he then gives Sora a special Baseball Charm to help him along his journey. The charm summons Little who teams up with Sora and throws baseballs at enemies to stun them. Little also has a limit called FPS (First Person Shooter) Mode which allows Sora to shoot firecrackers or baseballs at enemies through a scope in a first-person shooter style.
Once Upon a Studio
In the short, Chicken Little makes an appearance alongside The Headless Horseman, Gaston, Happy, Milo Thatch, Thomas O'Malley, and Prince John in the men's restroom of the Disney Animation Studio. Then, alongside his closest friends, Chicken Little celebrates the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Animation Studios by joining all the other Disney characters in a group photo.
Wish
Chicken Little briefly appears during this film's credits.
Trivia
In the original version of the film, Chicken Little was originally going to be female, and he was going to be voiced by Holly Hunter.
Interestingly, Travolta would later go on to voice fellow CGI protagonist Bolt in the Disney Animated Canon film of the same name.
He is the first Disney Animated Canon protagonist to come from a CGI film; not counting Aladar, as he instead comes from a CGI/live-action hybrid film. Ironically, D.B. Sweeney, Aladar's voice actor, was one of the proposed actors for Chicken Little himself.
In a picture with his whole family, he closely resembles his late mother Chloe Cluck.
He is surprisingly responsible for the pacification between the aliens and the entire planet Earth. Had he never met Kirby in the first place, then the aliens would not have been stopped from invading Earth for their needed resources.
His Hollywood self was voiced by the late Adam West. Interestingly, that version was also listed in the film's end credits with Chicken Little's real name, Ace.
