MePhone4 is the main protagonist of AnimationEpic's animated comedy web-series, Inanimate Insanity.
He is an arrogant and cowardly Meeple product who was created by Steve Cobs. He would soon escape from Meeple HQ and begin to host a show called Inanimate Insanity, a show were several objects that he himself had created and interviewed would compete to win a grand prize of 1,000,000 dollars. He kept his show going for three seasons and desperately tried to keep it going longer.
Although MePhone committed numerous morally questionable acts and would be portrayed as a villain in some episodes, he is still ultimately a heroic character and is usually portrayed as such. In the movie, he would begin to redeem herself and felt extreme remorse for all of his actions, eventually quitting the show once and for all. He was the former boss and friend of both MePad and Toilet, as well as the arch-nemesis of Steve Cobs.
He was originally voiced by Christian Potenza. He was later replaced by Mark Katz starting from A Lemony Lesson, although the former briefly voiced him in Journey Through Memory Lane (Part 2) and Alternate Reality Show.
Appearance
MePhone4 has a black rectangular case, and a blue screen. He has a shiny Meeple logo on his back, representing the fact that he is a Meeple product. He also has a flashlight and a camera on his back. He has an earpiece on the top front of himself, and a home button on the bottom front of himself. On his top, he has a power switch. On his bottom, he has a charging port, a microphone and a speaker. He has a gray outline.
After he got cracked during Inanimate Insanity: The Movie, his design looks mostly the same to his regular one, but he has a cracked screen that stands out due to being punched by Steve Cobs.
Personality
MePhone4 was invented by Steve Cobs, though he differs from any other Meeple products in keyways. According to Cobs, he has a "highly advanced emotion emulator," meaning that he is able to feel emotions strongly like any other object might. When in good spirits, MePhone4 is very childlike and becomes excited by the drama of the competition. He enjoys sugary junk food, most notably cookies, and has such a fondness for eating food that he describes himself as a "fat slob." He enjoys celebrating various holidays and anniversaries within the show (for example, by starting Season 2 exactly two years after the first episode of Season 1 aired). His love of competition and showmanship stems from watching reality TV back at Meeple Headquarters, which he enjoyed, instead of doing tasks assigned to him by Cobs, which caused a rift in their relationship.
MePhone4 also displays a violent and jerking side, in the first two seasons, He proved to arrogant and shown slight concern for contestants due to being able to revive them, as proven when he was afraid to get sued from his challenges, endangering the eliminated contestants with acts of imprisonment for several months and longer periods.
As the host of Inanimate Insanity, MePhone4's primary goal is to make his show as entertaining as possible, for himself and the viewers. He is dedicated to good showmanship and raising the stakes of the game, often in favor of producing the most exciting competition possible. This often means the contestants get the short end of the stick, as MePhone4 comes up with challenges that range from mundane to relatively normal to disgusting to extremely dangerous. It is also implied he enjoys this job from his anxiety when Ballpoint Pen reminds him the show can't go on forever and The Floor comments on how fast the game is going by.

- MePhone4 is based off the real-life iPhone 4, which is created by Apple, although his design has slightly deviated from this.
- MePhone4 stated that he was only one year old in "4Seeing The Future", although his age may have changed as that episode was all the way back in Season 1.
- MePhone4 has appeared in every single episode in the first three seasons of Inanimate Insanity, due to him being the host of all three of them.
- Ironically, other then depictions and flashbacks, MePhone himself has yet to appear atall in the fourth season. It's unknown if he will ever make an appearance in a future episode.
- MePhone also appeared in the thumbnail of the first episode of every season, while additionally holding up an amount of fingers depending on what season it is.
- Although he did not appear in the fourth season's thumbnail, the trend was still followed as Bot appeared instead, wearing a MePhone4 costume holding up four fingers.
- Strangely, while writing down his ideas for the contestants, MePhone wrote Suitcase down as a "traitor", when she never really betrayed anyone besides Nickel, who deserved it. This could possibly mean MePhone changed some of his ideas about the contestants when actually creating them.
- To prove this theory, during a QNA, it was stated that MePhone was non-consistent with his ideas about the contestants while first making ideas for them.
- Ironically, he was voiced by Christian Potenza in the first episode of the first season, who also voiced Chris McLean, a similar character to MePhone4, as both host reality shows and appear to care more about ratings over their contestant's well-beings.
