Todd Snap is a photographer who has made a few appearances across the Pokémon franchise. He appeared as the protagonist of the Nintendo 64 video game Pokémon Snap and served as a supporting character in it's Nintendo Switch sequel New Pokémon Snap. Todd has also appeared in the Pokémon anime and manga respectively.
He is voiced by the late Jimmy Zoppi!
Biography
Pokémon Snap
Todd was hired by Professor Oak to take photographs of Pokémon in their natural habitats for his Pokémon Report. He was given a vehicle called ZERO-ONE to explore different environments and earned various equipment to help him trigger reactions from Pokémon to photograph. After exploring much of the island he was on, Todd was tasked by Oak to take pictures of unusual formations found in certain areas so the Professor can discover their meaning. Taking a photo of every formation reveals to them a secret location where Todd can photograph the legendary Pokémon Mew.
New Pokémon Snap
Todd reappears to provide the game's protagonist with tips and tasks. He has apparently become quite successful as a photographer over the years and is currently teaching a boy named Phil in photography. He also helped his old friend Professor Mirror build the multi-terrain vehicle NEO-ONE. During the game, he will upgrade the player's camera to play music and later let them explore the Research Camp.

Todd first appears in Pokemon Paraazzi where is he by Team Rocket (disguised as an elderly couple) to captured Pikachu though Team Rocket thought he was an assassin but in truth he takes photos of Pokemon on his camera. He tries to get a photo of Pikachu from the bushes but was stop by Ash when he was an assassin. Todd explains to Ash and his friends that he takes pictures of Pokemon with his camera, he became famous after taking a photo of Aerodactyl (the same one that carried Ash in one of his talons.) He later explains that he was sent to take a photo of Pikachu but Pikachu is shown to be camera shy. Todd continued trying to get a photo of him but Ash foils him everytime later when he tried to get a photo from a distance, he overhears Ash saying that he doesn't care about other Pokemon's feelings. Then when Ash and his friends felt into a hole set up by Team Rocket, he finally took a picture of Pickahu until he notices some bricks about to crack under Ash and Pickachu.
Ash and Pikachu then fell down a tunnel that led to a waterfall and were then save by Todd who used his camera to save them. Sudden;y, Team Rocket appears and captured Pikachu and then revealed themselves to both Ash and Todd which cause Todd to realized that Team Rocket to trick him into helping them capturing Pikachu. James then throws bombs at them until Ash user Todd's camera to trick them to get a photo and the bomb went off. After Ash bulbasaur to chased Team Rocket away and free Piakchu, Todd became a friend to Ash and his friends and decided to take a photo of them since it's first time getting a photo of people with Pokemon.

- There had been some past confusion over the character's name as he is referred as Snap in the televised versions of the Pokémon anime series and Todd in the DVD/VHS release. To explain this inconsistency, Snap was made Todd's surname.
- Todd Snap debuted in the Pokémon anime episode Pokémon Paparazzi before he migrated into the games.
