Dorry the Blue Ogre is a major character in the One Piece franchise. He is a co-captain of the Giant Warrior Pirates along with his best friend, Brogy. He is a major ally of the Straw Hat Pirates in the Little Garden arc and Egghead Arc until he became a reluctantly minor antagonist due to him being mutated into a demon by Imu until he freed himself from Imu's controls.
He is voiced by originally the late Daisuke Gori, the late Takahiro Fujiwara and currently Yasuhiro Mamiya in Japanese and by Bob Carter in English.
Biography
Dorry the Blue Ogre is a co-captain of the Giant Warrior Pirates along with his best friend, Brogy after the retirement of both Jarul and Jorul. However, he and Brogy always fighting each other for 100 years. They met the Straw Hats at Little Garden where they helped them against Galdino aka Mr. 3.
Dorry and Brogy continually fighting against each other until they were discovered and picked up to Elbaf by their subordinates, Oimo and Kashii who thought they were imprisoned by the World Government which is a lie.
Dorry and Brogy are old friends with Shanks as well they agreed to help him against the Kid Pirates. When Shanks defeated Kid and obtain the Road Poneglyph copies, Dorry and Brogy destroy the Kid Pirates' ship in retaliation for Kid's attack threatening t0 cause damage to Elbaf.
After defeating the Kid Pirates, Dorry and Brogy later went to Egghead to help Luffy and his crew escape from the Five Elders. The Elders tried to all of their efforts to stop them from escaping but failed due to the message broadcast by Dr. Vegapunk and later the Elders were prevented by Emet (who used Joy Boy's advanced Haki that was stored up into the Iron Giant), allowing the Giants and the Straw Hats escape.
Dorry, Brogy and the other giants were demonized by Imu's "Domi Reversi" until they broke free of the spell casted by the true leader of the World Government.
Dorry's bounty was 100,000,000 same as Brogy. After aiding Luffy's escape, Dorry has a bounty worth 1,800,000,000 berries same as Brogy.
Appearance
Dorry is a muscular giant who has a long dark gray beard. He wore a viking outfit with a blue cape and golden helmet.
According to Oda, Dorry's height is 12 meters.
Personality
Dorry is a good-natured giant, though his pride could sometimes cloud his judgement. He firmly believes in the customers of his home, Elbaf and follow them with great honors.
As a giant, Dorry worships Nika as their god. His signature laugh is Gegyagyagyagyagya!
Ability and Powers
As a giant, Dorry is 10x stronger than ordinary humans. Due to his 100 million bounty, he is very powerful as even Luffy sensed that Dorry is monstrously powerful. He fought equally with his best friend, Brogy to get stronger. He can easily defeat a Vice-Admiral ranking Marine officer with no efforts. He along with Brogy were able to injure the Five Elders. Dorry has also knowledge over Haki.
Dorry has a very powerful willpower, making him unaffected by Conqueror's Haki as shown he resisted Topman Warcury's Haki. His willpower is proven strong enough to resist Imu's "Domi Reversi" when he and Brogy severed their heads to undo the spell.
Equipments
Dorry's weapons are a sword and a shield. His original sword was old and rusty as well broke. He bought a new sword.
