Hanunue was a supporting posthumous character in 2023 Science Fantasy Turn Based Role-Playing Video Game Honkai: Star Rail. He was founder of the Penacony's Bloodhound Family. He was an anthropomorphic alien werewolf hailing from the Harbeck clan in Nashoba who became a wanted criminal by the IPC for fighting against IPC's Imperialism. He became a central figure during Penacony's War of Independence, referring the IPC lackeys "Crocodiles" and blowing their ammunition supply. He's the basis of the Clockie Cartoon Character Brother Hanu, which involves his signature grunt.
History
Hanunue was a wanted criminal in the cosmos hailing from Harbeck clan on Nashoba. In 2147 Amber Era, he singlehandedly masterminded the Tumult in the Montour system. He's eventually apprehended by the Interastral Peace Corporations and served his time in Asdana's frontier prison. Within just a few years of being sent in Asdana, he orchestrated a rebellion by riot against the prison guards, which then leads to the Penacony's War of Independence. In one point during the War on Independence, Hanunue awarded the Fanghunter Medal to Tiernan, one of the Nameless, for his contribution for Penacony's Independence.
Prior to the climactic battle against the Interastral Peace Corporation, The Family has discovered the traitor within the Alfalfa Family, Lazka, after exterminating the Blackplum Family, and plans to gain recognition of IPC by selling out Penacony, hours after the White Desert Incident. Hanunue knew if there was a traitorous member of The Family with IPC background and informs Mikhail that he was absent during Lazka's trial for committing High-Treason. He then prepares for the assault the IPC fleet in retaliation.
Hanunue led his squad directly infiltrating the frontline ship. He fought head-to-head against the IPC, got shot by one of the IPC soldiers (although non-fatal), and taking over one of their Mechs. He then took the life support to heal his injuries. Mikhail C. Legwork noted that Hanunue couldn't stop the IPC spaceships on his own, even if he has enough ammunition, but the Werewolf has different idea. He locates the command center base of the IPC to destroy it, even if he has to sacrifice his own life. Despite Legwork's pleas, Hanunue also informs him that someone else, including Legwork, must take his role for Hanunue's absence during Lazka's trial, for the citizens of Penacony. In which, the Watchmaker has no choice to condemn Lakkika's actions & Lakkika's later executed for his crimes. Meanwhile, Hanunue has succeeded destroying the IPC command center after hijacking the frontline ship, causing massive damage on the said ship, at the cost of his life after succumbing to grave injuries. After the destruction of their base by Hanunue, the IPC fleets are retreating from Penacony.
Legacy
Member of the Bloodhound Family, Graysen later write the story of Brother Hanu and asked the Watchmaker to honor Hanunue's contributions for Penacony's Independence.

- According to Gallagher, Hanunue's favorite drink is Pika White Grape Soda for its sourness in its Original Recipe.
