Hugo Vlad Ravenlock is a major and playable character in the 2024 video game, Zenless Zone Zero. He is born from the infamous Ravenlock Family (the subsidiary of The Exaltists) and is the founder/leader (alongside Von Lycaon, formerly) of the Mockingbird.
He is voiced by Jimme Yamaguchi in English, Liang Dawei (梁达伟) in Chinese, Jun Fukuyama (福山 潤) in Japanese, and Kim Hye-sung (김혜성) in Korean. Jimme Yamaguchi also voiced Xiahou Dun in Romance of the Three Kingdoms franchise. Liang Dawei who also voiced Ororon in Genshin Impact and Argenti in Honkai Star Rail. Jun Fukuyama also voiced Lelouch vi Britannia in Code Geass franchise, Korosensei from Assassination Classroom, Ren Amamiya from Persona 5 and Roy from Fire Emblem franchise, King from The Seven Deadly Sins franchise, Finral Roulacase in Black Clover franchise. Kim Hye-sung also voiced Dan Heng and Inmbibitor Lunae.
Biography
Hugo was a boy born to a common woman. He was later sold to the Ravenlock family due to his heterochromic eyes. However, even then, he received a cruel life. Regardless, he was shown only kindness only by his half-sister, Serena, until her death. Hugo later in life meets a woman named Vivian, who reminded him of Serena. This led to them being friends and reviving the Mockingbird syndicate.
Appearance
Hugo is a tall, slim young man with pale skin and long blonde hair tied in a low ponytail; he has an ahoge and pointed pierced ears too. He has a red eye and a black one and a beauty mark under the red one. He wears a navy blue dress shirt with a light blue tie, black high-waist pants, black dress shoes, and a blue belt tilted sideways with a golden chain attached to its right side. Over his shirt, he wears a black jacket with light blue insides; he only wears it over his left arm. He wears a half-palm glove on his right hand and wears golden rings on both hands, a black strap on his right bicep, and a black harness over his chest, which has two badges, a golden one and a silver one. It also has a small black talisman-like accessory with a blue inside; over the left side of his jacket, he has a Mockingbird badge.
Personality
Hugo initially portrayed himself as a charismatic man with a playful attitude. Despite later being revealed as a cruel and complex individual, he does in truth bear his own sense of fairness and justice.
