Lyris is a minor heroine in the 2020 role-playing fantasy game, Genshin Impact. She was an Oceanid who lived around 500 years ago and worked as the Director of the Narzissenkreuz Institute, an orphanage in Fontaine. At some point, she was convinced to join the Narzissenkreuz Ordo, where she gained the title of the "Red Empress" and was tasked with dissolving humans.
Personality
Lyris was a gentle and kind-hearted Oceanid whose position of orphanage director led to her becoming a compassionate, nurturing person while looking after the kids who lived there. In the Court of Fontaine's official register of Oceanids, she was noted to be highly affectionate and caring towards the children of the orphanage, but she was also said to be unintelligent compared to other Oceanids, having trouble understanding the concept of cause and effect and not even being able to count.
