Lyndis, commonly known as Lyn, is a major character in the Elibe duology within Nintendo's Fire Emblem franchise.
She is the tritagonist of the 2003 video game Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and a supporting character in its 2002 predecessor, Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. She later returns as a supporting character in the 2023 video game Fire Emblem Engage.
She is the princess of Caelin, being the daughter of Hassar, the chief of the Lorca tribe, and Princess Madelyn of Caelin, as well as the granddaughter of Marquess Hausen of Caelin.
In Japanese, she was voiced by Makiko Ōmoto. In English, she was voiced by Wendee Lee in Fire Emblem Heroes, who also voices Veronica in the same game, and Lani Minella in Super Smash Bros. In the live action trailer for Fire Emblem Heroes, she was portrayed by an uncredited actor.
Appearance
Lyn is a young woman with long green hair which is tied into a ponytail and green eyes. She wears a blue qipao dress and brown boots.
Biography
Lyn was born in the plains of Sacae and was named after her maternal grandmother. Both of her parents were killed by bandits before the beginning of the game, and most of the Lorca tribe shared their fate. Those who have survived staunchly refused to follow her leadership, purely on the grounds of her being a woman.

Fire Emblem Heroes
Lyn is a playable character in the gacha mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes. She is one of the many characters who is summonable in the initial game launch, her bridal variation was added on May 30, 2017 under the "Bridal Blessings" banner, her brave variation was added on August 31, 2017 under the "Brave Heroes" banner, her valentine variation was added on February 9 2018 under the "Love Abounds" banner, her legendary variation was added on May 21, 2018, her summer variation was added on July 9, 2019 under the "Summer Refreshes" banner and her ninja variation who she is paired with Florina was added on November 6, 2020 under the "In the Moment" banner. Her resplendent skin for her normal variation was added February 6, 2020.

Lyn makes an appearance in Fire Emblem Warriors as a playable character.
Fire Emblem Engage
Lyn appears as an Emblem who resides in The Ring of the Lady of the Plains. As her ring was entrusted to Elusia, she was easily corrupted by Sombron. King Hyacinth used her power to kill King Morion. When Hyacinth was eaten by Sombron and Alear's army was forced to retreat Ivy was able to get the Emblem Rings of Lyn and Lucina to Alear, purifying them of Sombron's influence.
Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Lyn debuted in the Super Smash Bros. series as an assist trophy. She also was represented as a trophy and a sticker that give a boost on healing effect after eating a food by 7 to any fighter.
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Lyn appears as an assist trophy and trophy again.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Lyn reappears as an assist trophy again, she is also appears as an ace primary attack spirit. Her spirit battle is on the battlefield form of the Gaur Plain stage against Zero Suit Samus equipped with a killing edge and have increased power on attack at high damage, Lyn herself appears as a hostile assist trophy. At level 99, the spirit can be enhanced to Lyn: Brave Lord, a legend spirit with her ability increasing the user's critical hit.
