Toadette is a Toad with a pink cap and two pink pigtails with white spots on them. She wears a pink dress with a thin white line near the bottom (except in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door), a red vest, white trousers and brown shoes. Originally, she was gonna wear a scarlet-red dress with a brown vest.
As Peachette, her appearance is similar to the original Princess Peach, but she includes some mushroom designs. In this form, Toadette can bounce back if she falls into a bottomless pit. However, she can only bounce back once unless she lands on another platform first, but she can recover from a falling platform.

Trivia
It is widely assumed that Toad and Toadette are boyfriend and girlfriend. However, the official guides for Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 8, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe state that they're brother and sister. Despite this, other sources have been ambiguous about their relationship, but a large number of them say that they’re only friends.
Her alter-ego in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is very controversial and created a meme where other Mario characters would turn into their own female versions. The most popular of these is Bowser turned into Bowsette and King Boo into Boosette.
She is the only main Mario character to not have her own amiibo and the only other character besides Bowser Jr. to not have their amiibo from the Super Mario series.
